What is Three Letter Acronym?
Three Letter Acronym is a 6-person improv team at Harvard University performing the Harold, a specific niche format of long-form improvisation.
We do monthly shows for the Harvard community as well as perform for the greater Boston area. Members of TLA have the chance to take the stage at ImprovBoston and at festivals across the country.
What is The Harold?
The Harold is the form performed most famously at Chicago’s Improv Olympic and New York’s the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and has shot some favorite SNL and Thursday Night Comedy Stars to fame. (Amy Poehler, Bobby Moynihan, Aubrey Plaza, Donald Glover.) It consists of a fun idea-generating opening and then segues into scenes that interconnect in specific hilarious ways.
